Three Hammers goals contenders for MotD GoM
And one Hamer goal too.

I reckon Bowen's second entry is the best of the lot.

I couldn’t find this on the BBC football page. I just googled it and found out that the voting is over.

If anyone is interested, Mitoma’s goal for Wolves v Brighton won, with Saka’s v Nottingham Forest in second, and Bowen’s v Brighton a distant third.

I’m going to be biased, but I thought Bowen’s was better than those two. Mitoma’s was good, but he was just running and kicking the ball forward in a straight line, while the defence parted like the red sea. Saka’s goal was something you see every week. But people just vote for their favourite player or team, so these awards are pretty meaningless these days.

Yup to be fair I hadn't seen the one from this weekend, and must have forgotten about Bowen in the first week. Not a single player for those 3-1 wins is madness though.

Anyway my point has been slightly diluted by your more astute observations :)

Crooks has selected a WHU player for two of the four rounds to date. Not a bad strike rate.

Obviously, we need to have 8 contenders out of eight to stand a chance of winning....

September's target?

You're such a hero for the BBC.

Zouma made this week's - but garth couldn't help himself. Zouma was only the best defender against a shit Luton side and he couldn't bear rice parading in an arsenal shirt just days after we won the conference leage but guesses it was a statement that he has no further allegiance with us.

He used to try and at least be a bit subtle about his hatred of us, the goggle eyed cunt.

Scorch 1:19, here is what Garth Crooks wrote, on the 14th August about one of his forwards selected after the opening EPL weekend.

“Jarrod Bowen (West Ham): Well he certainly started the season the way he finished it. Jarrod Bowen's goal against Fiorentina, in last season's Europa Conference League triumph in Prague may well provide the player with legendary status in east London.”

Nice to see- and all very good goals.

As an aside seen as it is also BBC, not a single West Ham player in any of Garth Crooks' team of the weeks so far this season...

That's the one I have just voted for.
